Default Do I need to disable DoD for...

higher ratio rocker arms? Can't find a definitive answer. I have googled this to infinity. lol

Default disable question

when I upgrade my valve train I also upgraded to a ls1 intake (for sale by the way) so I did disable my DOD

i dont see why you would need to. its not adding that much lift.

Yeah well I had a real rwd sports car with 480 rwhp. This is a DD, and an easy mod for 15-20 fwhp. Lots of guys do rockers. I only plan on 3 or 4 mods. 12 month a year car with brutal winters. So Im not rocking the turboed aftermarket headed lumpy comp cam thing and a TEP trans. I will probably do a Ls6 oil pump and C5R chain this spring/ summer if it ever comes. Would be happy with 40-50 engine hp in the end. I know I will get more torque which will make torque steer soo much fun. haha Thanks for you comments pal.

didnt mean the rocker arms are not worth it, i was saying i dont think you would have to disable dod.

Oh sorry. Crossed lines there. Found out you sorta havta disable DoD anytime you alter valvelift on a DoD engine. Plus a lot of the Ls4's use oil. DoD causes a lot of that. Remember this was GM's first experiment with DoD. These cars were guinea pigs of sorts. Didn't have direct injection etc.. back 8-9 years ago.
