Dave is on point and with some extra upgrades
so dave got my trans last thursday and it would of shipped out today but i asked him to do the 12 friction 3rd gear setup along with the billet 3rd he said i dont need it but i have been through so much with this trans i want every little upgrade so i now have his hps4x build with gmr 3.29 gear and chain setup custom 12 friction 3rd and all of his valve body upgrades so now finally my the trans can take the 500+ whp i put down from what he said the chain and 3rd gear are weak links im actually gonna be able to enjoy my car for more than a month at a time

that's a story in it self i got a billet converter from precision of new Hampton they suck at life it never worked kept eating my stator support so when i let the local shop build my trans they sent it to there converter people who fixed it somewhat the car drove fine with it but still eating the stator so when Dave saw it he told me just to send it straight to precision industries so they can take my parts that are good from it and build it to Dave's spec

yea i have a precision industries as well. absolutley no problems from the TEP trans or the converter, I've got my turbo back on but i only have 300 miles or so with the turbo. I had an issue where the turbine was wobbly. it took forever to get a new turbo back. but i need coil overs bad and slicks for the front, 3-2nd downshift feels like a endless burnout

Got my trans installed on Saturday and have had few days to break her in and i must say That TEP Is the only way to go this trans being my 4th one been in out 7 times is by far the best i got the gmr 1in chain setup billet 3rd and his custom 12 friction setup for 3rd and a precision billet converter!

I finally have my shift points dialed in how i like them.
