Default DiabloSport Tune - 07 monte carlo - Timing ?

Has anyone looked at the timing table from the diablosport. I have a freind who loaded a diablosport tune and hes getting knock. I dont wanna use my HP tuner credits to see exactly what this thing did.

When we undo the changes. The knock goes away.

Pull the scan from the Diablo in .csv format which will allow you to read it in excel. You should be able to pinpoint it.

like I say, have to make sure to use good 93 octane gas with the Diablo Tune...

I never had a problem with knock in my 2006 Monte Carlo SS on the Diablo Tune, when I had it... I use Mobil 93 octane...

Me neither when I had Diablo way back in the day. Is your frie.ds car only doing this when tcc locks? Mechanical eise, what has been done to the car?

Surprisingly it was an injector issue. The fuel trims where super high. At first i thought it was a vacuum leak, but the misfire was on the same cylinder over and over ONLY with the tune.

So i did vacuum leak check,
Did a leak down check,
Then i did an injector fire test with a fuel pressure gauge on the rail.
IT was not dropping the pressure NEARLY as much as the other injectors.

Replaced injector, all is well again.
