Yea 100% stock trans 106k but I dont rape my pressure tables I did rape shift times and tq converter lock up speeds With a couple other things. I also have a external filter as well

I know we are going way off thread with these transmission post but maybe you could detail your tuning and a refresher of modifications in another post as what it takes to get over 100k out of these trannys without shitting all over themselves. I'm sure it would be of interest to all. Thanks

Another slight derail here but stock transmission, no engine mods, hot Florida weather and mainly used the car for commuting, 184,000 miles.

Wow I thought you had low mileage on your trans. It sucks it going south but you got your moneys worth from that weak *** thing. I don't think the shift kit or the cooler would help at that mileage.

unless you buy a valley cover already modified to fit the LS6 intake from katech, you will need to make changes to the OPSU port yes.

also saw these up on ebay but they dont have the port drilled for the OPSU, you could probably redrill the hole and attach the adapter plate without any issues.

When I did my physical DoD delete I did it with the engine still in the car. It wasn't too difficult but I would never do it again now that I have a lift lol.

Take the hood off so you can see, pull out the rear header and you have more room to work on it than the front head IIRC.
