It looks like a nice kit, but at that point you may not use some of it and would need new muffler and tips too. Costly for sure, try finding good looking inexpensive tips for 3 inch, they want your left one or first born.

i did the 3 inch kit, it still takes some custom work getting a mufflers and tips to line up correctly.

you probably could do a single 4 inch all the way back without too much of an issue.

At a minimum with 600whp you should have 3.5 inch for a single exhaust

i just got done ordering all this

WALKER 17666 Dynomax Super Turbo Direct Fit Muffler RIGHT
WALKER 17667 Dynomax Super Turbo Direct Fit Muffler LEFT
Dynomax 24215 Race Bullet Muffler
DynoMax 53872 Intermediate Y-Pipe

probably gonna ditch the cat all together and use a false cat. I got a procomp 60mm wideband gauge im gonna put in the pod in the center console, I was adamant about running an LSU 4.9 sensor this time around.

Well I think that is way too small, but it's your dime. In kit from the system comes with tips and a resonator, plus a nice rebate and you can sell what you don't use. Take some pics of the install, curious about the fit and finish

Na, but 2 1/2 mid pipe to 2 1/4 y at the muffler out to 2 1/2 tip is almost damn near what you have now. Unless you are dragging your exhaust system on the ground due to holes and broken mounting tabs this will gain you nothing. For all your fantastic work and great ideas, gotta say this aint one of them lol

Ironically the factory exhaust system goes from 2 1/2 down to 1 7/8, i thought it was horse **** when I read the measurement for the replacement on line but sure enough when i went under there and measured the tail section, those pipes at that split piece are 1 7/8. You would be surprised how huge going from that to 2 1/4 is in terms of airflow. Along with a pair of un-restrictive mufflers, and getting rid of the cat, I don't for see too much of a restriction to be honest. Like i said before, i am very very particular about sound and things not being obnoxiously loud, one of my previous cars I built 5 different exhaust systems in an attempt to quiet it down and get the tune to my liking. lol

That's a matter of opinion, and frankly there is no real way to prove that other then running back to back dyno tests.

So the link you posted did you not notice PER PIPE? A 3 inch single is only good for 339 hp. as per your link why not do it right the first time.
