LT1 v. LT4 Heads, and what is needed to go to LT4?
what are the main differences between the LT1 and LT4 heads here is what i have found...
stock LT4 heads are195cc and 54.4cc chambers.
stock LT1 heads are smaller (obviously).
so. here is the question... if i wanted to go to LT4 heads (potentially AFR 195cc LT4 heads) what would i need to get them to fit...
different intake manifold? fuel rails? valve covers? etc.
thanks.

I would suggest you do your research and realize that both the LT4s and AFRs would be mistakes before you go and spend all that money.
The LT4 intake has more material above the port but internally is the same as the LT1 intake. The GM version is no longer available and the Edelbrock is a $465 even bigger mistake than either of those heads would be.
Ported GM LT1 castings can take a car into the 9s NA so there are VERY few cars that could benifit from buying an aftermarket head. Though most who have already made that mistake will blindly defend it because it is easier on the ego than saying "I made a $2000+ mistake".

i want to go with the le2 port job on the heads and have the intake manifold ported...capable of 9 seconds with a 355, vortech supercharger with meth injection and nitrous?

You would need a factory LT4 intake or an Edelbrock LT4 intake.
You can hog out any set of LT1 heads and get good flow numbers, but to say money is wasted on aftermarket or LT4 heads is ignoring the facts. A good set of AFR LT4 eliminators will make more power across the board with a smaller cam than a hogged out set of stock castings. The stock castings have potential, but to say money is wasted on aftermarket or LT4 heads is wrong. To say the factory LT1 castings are the best available is funny.

No need to "hog out" stock castings, though it is popular.
What is ignoring facts is the BLIND belief that the UNTESTED Eliminator heads would make more power.
I would not say the ported stock castings are the absolute best but they are right for most. Recent results with the Trickflows in the right hands speak to huge potential there.

*Shrugs* I like my LT4 heads, LT4 Mani, and everything else I have LT4... but then it came with the car for 2800.00.... so frankly if i made a mistake getting a full car with t56 and a fresh lt4 with less then 1000miles... *Shrugs* I can live with that. :p

Ported factory castings are probably OK for a lot of folks. Bang for the buck they're a great deal, but there are other options out there. I would have considered the Trickflows for my 383, but they did not have the chamber sizes available that AFR did.

the AFR eliminators are unquestionably one of the top heads for the gen 1 SBC's. AFR also has a great rep in the small block ford world. i dont have any reason to doubt anything AFR would put out, however, the AI Trick Flow package looks very appealing.
