tps question
ok i got a throttle body today. a ported tb 52mm unit and i went to put it on and my idle was at 1500 rpms. and then i tried my stock one back on and went back to normal. so i wanted to know if there was a slight change in the tps unit. i wanna find out what yr my throttle body came off from? i have a 96 camaro ss so is there a difference between 94-95? and also 96-97

Well yea, the blades WILL be bigger going from 48mm to 52mm lol Wasn't quite what I was referring to. Talking about the gap when they are closed, between the blades and the bore. No idea what you're referring to about a backwards hole though...

I'd start with .62v and go from there.
Sweet, I typed up a small tutorial on doing the TPS mod, but when I was looking for pictures I came across this! Works out SO much better haha

Looks like I set my TPS .18v too high >_> Should be .50v for my year and .67v for yours.

I'd start with .62v and go from there.

Hopefully that link was able to fix your problem.
On a side note, I haven't noticed any difference between .52v and .68v :\ That's just on the butt-dyno though.
