Default This is whats been taking up my time, 96 TA almost ready.

Well after way too long since I have very little time to work on my hobby this project is almost done. A few finishing details and it will be ready to put on the for sale block and I can get back to working on my 95 Formula and my 67 Camaro. Everything from the doors forward was pulled off the car and repainted as well as the rear bumper and side skirts. It wasn't wrecked just needed the paint freshened up. Its got a fresh built 355 in it, big stall, and full leather. Should be a fun little street car. It went 11.2s on the old stock bottom end motor. I changed the cam and put in a light rotating assembly 355. Hopefully it can pick up some in the same conditions. This is SAR2Ks car that held the bolt on record for a couple years and was in the GM High tech ltx bolt on shootout.

Just a little run down of whats been done to the car off the top of my head.

Parts / Mods:
Factory Ram-Air hood & air box
Descreened MAF
Fernco Coupling
TB bypass
160 t-stat

New and fresh bottom end..3 miles, Will be putting break in miles on it soon.
LT1 block .030 bore
JE forged .030 flat top ultra light pistons.
6” light weight connecting rods.
Eagle crank, cast
Balanced/blueprinted rotating assembly
this is a super lightweight rotating assemble..made to spin up fast NA.
Arizona Speed & Marine Monoblade throttle body
Fully Ported Intake manifold without welding up the runners
32# SVO injectors
Adjustable fuel pressure regulator
Comp Cams 1.52:1 roller rockers
ARP 7/16 rocker studs
GM Bowtie guideplates
ARP head bolts
Ported factory heads
Manley stainless valves (stock diameters)
Crane springs
Titanium retainers
Hardened pushrods
Comp R lifters
Futral motorsports 234/241 .576/.598 112lsa
Rollmaster double row timing set
Melling oil pump
Meziere water pump
Taylor plug wires (over VC)
MSD 6A Ignition box

Hooker Super Comp headers freshly coated from jet hot
Mufflex y-pipe
Borla stainless cat-back with bullet muffler in intermediate pipe to kill the resonance that a borla gets with long tubes on a lt1. Car sounds great with the custom plate I have in it.

4l60E trans built with transgo kit
Yank 4800 UT stall
Deralle deep pan with built in cooling tubes
3.73 gears

LS1 Alum. driveshaft
BMR driveshaft safety hoop
BMR tubular lower A-arms
BMR K-member
BMR subframe connectors – welded
G2 LCA’s
BMR LCA relocation brackets
BMR adjustable panhard rod
Hal adjustable rear shocks

Racetronics fuel pump & wiring harness

Thats all I can remember for now. May remember more later, its a long list..lol. I still need to get it tuned as the old tune is junk, way rich and likes to idle at 1500 in park and 1100-1200 in gear and do some little odds and ends to get it ready.

Here are some shots. I haven't washed it yet or put any polish on it so its bare paint right now.

Nice build. That's a lot of stall you got there. What rpm are you planning on shifting at?

Should be shifting around 6800. I have a vig 2800 that I was going to use for another build but I'm changing directions. May have it restalled to 3200 and put that in if people are scared of the stall. It drives really nice considering the size of it.
