M1-111 MOBIL 1, for my 97 z28. its this correct oil filter ? thanks

That's what it calls for. I also run the M1-302 which is a longer version if you have the room.

Yes, that sounds correct. Are you asking because the one you took off was a different size?

yes, m1-111 I bought seem smaller then other. that why I ask, im i guess im using m1-302 next.

One last question before I ran out and exchange 4 mobil 1 oil filter ( my local store manerger sold me $5 each ), I was in autozone today and compare between m1-111 and m1-302, 302 is 2 time longer then 111, just wonder any benefic, or will it make my oil pump work harder ? thanks

The added capacity is a good thing to prevent starvation, in a high performance engine flow is the most important aspect of a filter. I like the oversized k&n better than the m1. The number for that one is hp3002 IIRC
