custom intake under stock transam Hood?

custom intake under stock transam Hood? i like the Lid setup but seems like a lil to much work with non induction hood.
wanna do like some type of pipe from Ls1 MAF to in front of radiator(i dont have a radiator support or AC)
looking for a oval filter with like 3.5" or 3" inlet. anyone seen these at a reasonable price? K&N seems kinda pricy
or anymore dont something like this? i think im going to have to crush the pipe to a oval to fit under hood.

You might consider using or fabricating a newer corvette style intake, which goes down in front of the radiator.

i bought the stock c5 intake but now idk if its gonna work way i want. was thinking of taking thinner walled 3.5" tube and making it a oval. but trying to find a filter. K&N site is down today
