Default What Gear???

ok i got a 4 speed automatic. Some ppl have told me 3.73s but i was looking at 4.11s. what would b the best and what would be the difference? its a street car
i dont care about the high rpm
my dad brang up the 4.11s
i wanna get down the track faster
i got a 503 lift cam in it but put 1.6 rr to bring the lift up to about 525
i sometime race, but im about to go to college & plan on doin more & racin a little more, but i wanna keep it a streetable

3.73's in an auto are about equivalent to 4.11's in a manual. I wouldn't go 4.11 in an auto personally because you run out of gear too quick and if its ever a DD your gas mileage will go to ****. Not to mention on the highway gets very old with an auto and 4.11's...

I personally love how my Motive 3.73's and Yank SS3600 drive on the interstate. At 70mph with cruise on I'm crusing ~2500rpm.. Haven't noticed too bad a drop on gas mileage yet but 4.10's is too short IMO
