Let's say 1 million crank horsepower, minus about 17% parasitic drivetrain loss for an auto, soooo...let's see, 1,000,000 x 17% = 170,000 bhp so 1,000,000 - 170,000 = 830,000rwhp...there ya go! 830,000 rear wheel horsepower

And it will cost you 1 million dollars http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jTmXHvGZiSY

Ok for real...on average:

Elbow, foil (a joke mostly), ac delete and water pump will net you on a good low humidity day on the dyno a whopping 5rwhp if you're lucky. CAI & CATBACK could net you around 18rwhp together, not each, forget what the box says, it's BS! A good dyno tune on your PCM/current setup could get you another 20+ maybe if everything is up to par on your setup.

Yea, I would say more in the neighborhood of 265-270 rwhp. Probably depends on the dyno as well.

Back in the day I installed several bolt ons and added up the "Supposedly" horsepower gains for each mod. the total came out to in the neighborhood of 125 HP, not RWHP. So I sent this subject in to Hot Rod Magazine and they did an article, according to Jr. (their computer calculator) I gained app 55 horsepower, again not to the tires, take it being an A4 with a 2800 stall and I guess I would of gained about 25 to the tires, Never Dynoed it...
