Wish I had a auto, do I have no hope with the m6 to reach 11's?
I don't know with my setup in my sig if I will ever be able to reach high 11's motor only with my m6. It seems as if I have heard of auto's doing it with my exact setup. Are they really that much faster?
I hate that I am going to have to use slicks to get some good 60ft times but auto's can use drag radials and get the same 60ft times but also get higher mph due to less rolling resistance from not using slicks. Plus I just switched from 4.22 to 3.89 gears for nitrous. Did I screw myself for motor only 11's doing that?
Also I have no rear seats, no a/c, no power steering, front weld skinnies, and rear weld 15x8's plus what is in my sig. Am I simply not going to get into the 11's with my 6 speed?
Just to let you know I haven't taken it to the track just yet and know I will need alot of practice but wanted your opinions so I don't get upset if it isn't possible. Thanks alot.

i dont see how you could be that far off. its not uncommon for a cam only to get close. im cam only any hoping for 11.9999999999999999 with full weight on zr1s w/ nittos daily driven. it probably wont happen but it is a possibility. btw i dynoed 363rwhp and 351 ft/lbs through a moser 12 w/ 4.10s

I guess I deserve that. I think what just really upset me is when I read someone on these forums say there are some automatic people who beat people with 100-150rwhp less than the 6-speed. I'd hope he is talking about high horsepowered cars over 700rwhp.

ifyour that worried about it and all when you go to the track run N/T so no one knows what you run. hell you shuld be able to put your car in the 11s easily with your setup even if you can drive as long as you dont stall off the line. like everyone else says. just take your car to the track and drive the **** out of it. and dont be discouraged at your first few runs or hell your first night. itll take a lil time to get used to how to drive your car at the track. if you street race its a million times different on the street then it is at the track. i would guess your first run if you spray and all youll prolly see like 12.5 at 120. just cause of inexperience. but practice makes perfect.

28x9 et drags would be a good tire choice, they're really a 27.2" tire so you shouldn't have any clearance issues. or if you want the et street version i think its a 28x11.50. might be a little tall with the 3.89s NA but it'll be a lot more consistant than a 26" tire especially on the spray. really with an m6 you want the 28x10.5S but it requires a 10" rim. anyways run it man good luck
