E-brake snapped...help

Default E-brake snapped...help

ok, so i pulled back my e-brake handle while parking at my house because my driveway is on a steep hill, and SNAP PP! the damn thing broke and now it obviously doesn't work. what do i need to fix this?

you will need to go to a dealership and get a new front ebrake cable...i tried other part stores and they didnt have it

for some reason the parts managers at the dealerships around here remember me and that i have a trans am and they usually give me wholesale price but i paid like 30 for it but i think retail is 45 and its really easy to replace

how do i go about replacing it?
an write ups, or could you give me a pretty general overview of how to do it?

if i remember right you pull the center console out and use a punch to move the ebrake cable out of the ebrake assembly and pull it out through the bottom of the car then you unhook the front cable from the two rear and squeeze the metal bracket and pull the line out from under the car and reverse to install it
