Default tranny problems

ok i have a 93 camaro ...cam and bolt ons....
i have the 700r4 i believe well i got it rebuilt like in the end of april ....

now if i go wot and go through the gears first to second works fine and pulls hard but when its time to shif to third i put it in and it wont shift it just goes till it hits the limiter ...when i let off it finaly shifts ......

fluid looks good ... not sure if the cable for the tranny is adjusted rigt or if that would even make a difference ........


any one have any ideas

Adjustments are made with the engine off. Locate the Adjust Tab on the cable housing. Press the tab and push the slider inward as shown in the second diagram. Release the tab and rotate the the throttle lever to WOT and the cable will self adjust itself and you'll hear some audible clicks. Take it for a test drive after that. If it still acts up, try to readjust it. Do not continue to drive it if shifting is irradic/abnormal. The cable adjusts your line pressue and if it's off, you could fry your trans prematurely.

also if i leave it in d when i punch it it doesnt down shift just stays where ever and has no go at all

its the same really ragular driving i can tell a difference but not any at wot
