worth it?
Hey guys, i was under my car and noticing that all my factory bushings look pretty tired, so i'm wondering if its worth the work and 150 bucks to do a complete prothane bushing kit. What do you think? I was also going to box my factory controle arms and panhard rod with my new free stick welder, so the bushings would be a good add on to the rigidity.

Yeah thats why im doing it, i get some hop into 2nd with my m6. I'm shifting perfect and have new shocks too, so im thinking its the arm bushings, torque arm bushing or just weak arms. Whatever it is, i want to fix it because 3.73's and a cam are gunna make it alot worse lol. Specially going from 3.23's lol

I personally wounldn't put Polys on the front upper and lower control arms as lots of guys will tell you here that it rides like SH$$ and will beat the crap out of you. Polys are ok or good for rear LCA's, sway bar mounts and endlinks and that's about it. I just did this about 6 months ago and I went with the MOOG bushings for the LCA's up front as I already have hotchkis boxed LCA's in the rear with polys. The ride change/difference from my old worn out bushings was like night and day. The difference is amazing. It's up to you but I deff wouldn't suggest polys up front, IMHO!!!
