Default Went to the last track day, new PB!

First time I've ever had the car at a 1/4 mile track. I'm really happy with the results. Keep in mind its a stock rebuild with just 2 valve -5cc pistons even unballanced. Mods were:

hotcam kit
hooker headers/ory/catback
3.73, 3600 stall
k&n intake.

The cars full weight and still has the front swaybar.

1.637 60ft
4.947 330ft
7.754 1/8th 87.54mph
10.188 1000ft
12.253 1/4 @ 109.05mph

Pretty excited about it. I can't wait til next year to get the LE2 setup put on it.

You have a very strong running hot cam car, very nice! 3600 stalls + 3.73's make for a great combo on many cam-only LT1's.

Nice times for the mods. That's a good 60' with still having the front swaybar on. Any suspension mods?

The tune is a mail order from Bryan at pcmforless.
The car has 100% stock suspension, other then a hotchkis panhard bar, I was running on 26x11.5 hoosier QTPs on draglites.

the Track is 1013 above sea level, it was 67% humidity, and DA was 1146 if I read that right from dragtimes.

Thanks guys, I was very happy with it.

Id say your flyin and almost dont believe it, but I will since you posted what you have and excellent job. But holy hell that is flying, like I said I know many peeps that cant even cut that time with a dyno tune, custom cam and being atleast 200# lighter....So ur **** is a fluke to me atleast but will see what others say too...Do you have a vid at all on it, id like to see that badboy fly..lol

The only thing I have is what my friend took on his black berry, theres no zoom so you cant see what the time was. I will say it has that fiberglass hood, was on full drag wheels. Ill run and weight it here in a bit, I would say its probably 150lbs lighter with those. If you would like to see the video its VERY poor quality but will post it.

I went and weighed it, because I was curious too. It weighs in at 3480 with me in it. Its full leather, with the bose system and its all completely stock.

My first run was a 12.3 and I was immedietly hooked so I came in and took out my spare tire and my tool kit, the next pass I spun and ran a 12.4. Last run a did a bigger burnout and it hooked and went.

They are greg weld fronts, with weld draglite rears, the after market front bumber is a lot lighter then the stock urethane one (its some cheap certifit bumper) and it has the fiberglass hood it also has a ls1 driveshaft..

The Engine is stock crank, stock rods, stock hardware. Zero decked with the -5cc pistons unballanced. The heads are milled .020 and are 100% untouched in the port area.

The car is crazy fast for what it is!

Thanks guys! Im happy the season ended on a good note.

You just need some lighter wheels, a larger stall and some tires!

i definetly believe it. IMO thats where a good hotcam setup car should run. u got to remember its all about the complete setup. just a cam wont get u good numbers. u need a complete setup, a sound setup. and he has that. congrats man

Heres my first launch against that cobra your talking about. I couldnt believe how it came off the line, I was able to foot brake it to around 3000rpm that first launch and is probably why it caught a little air under the tire, the rest of the day i had to foot brake around 2000rpm because the track wasnt holding. I actually ended up improving my 60ft that way!

Unsure about KCIR, I think the car is up for the winter.
