Not sure what you refer to as high boost but somewhere near 15 psi coppers take the lead. I have my block o ringed with copper and supposedly it will take ~30 psi.

I prefer copper head gaskets, ansd used them even on 12 psi. I have never had a problem with copper and on my rearmount I have run 21 psi without o ringing.

But as it is always said, boost pressure only shows the restriction to boost, rwhp is a better measure. Either way I recommend copper head gasket on three of mine and a few of friends (all >18 psi) LT1's zero failures.

Good luck

I have two brand new sets of copper head gaskets still in the package. They have the special coolant passage seals built into them. .040 thick.

$140 plus shipping per set.

I'll keep those gaskets in mind I'm dropping the motor back off to the builder so he can pick some new dish pistons.

o-rings and copper gaskets here too. was running mls but got a good deal on a set of heads and they were already o-ringed. you may waant to consider the o rings with 25lbs but the mls may be ok too.
