Auto Tranny Rev Limiter? Quick question, what would the rev limiter be set to on a '93 Trans Am, with an automatic? I know it will shift before the rev limiter if I leave it in drive, but I am wondering how far I can push first gear if I select 1st instead of drive.

Get a tune and have the rev limiter raised. Your shift points are controlled by the governor on the transmission, springs and weights.
