Default Valve springs to replace my CM612s

I've had my car parked for a few years and recently have gotten back into the LT1 scene. The car has some combination motorsports 612 springs on it I got way back when I did my first cam install.

I saw in a thread that people have been having trouble with these springs breaking, so I figured I should probably replace them before I have an issue.

What springs would you guys recommend? The comp beehive 26918s? Would like something that I wouldnt have to upgrade again if i decided to go with a wilder cam than my current LE1.

i say put a pac 1220, or if you want the best the 1518 or nitrided 1220 which iirc is the 1520. you'll spend a bit of money but they'll handle whatever HR setup you can throw at them and they LAST!

you can get them ALOT cheaper than buying direct, probably 50% less on some springs. speed inc sells pac springs at good prices, or there's some non sponsors i could PM you if you want to compare. they're made in the usa and the quality is top notch

Which retainers and locks would these use for an LT1? All the places say to reuse your stock LS1 retainers/locks.

Would the ones I already have work?

retainers 787-16
locks 614-16
locators 4705-16

for a 918, 1218 or 1518 beehive... That is for a stock length valve. the 1220s won't work with a stock length valve, they need a +.100.
