Default Fast idle problem

I have a 97 Trans Am with an LT4. My problem is when I drive up to a stop, the idle is at about 2500 RPM. Once I come to a complete stop it starts idling down to normal. If I push in the clutch and coast up to the stop it still won't idle down until I'm stopped. I have no vacuum leaks that I can find. Code reader does not show any codes. I did notice that the rubber elbow on the PVC sucks in some and may be resticting flow.

Vacuum leak or bad/stuck/dirty IAC. Monitor your IAC counts if possible.

Default Thanks Joe

I checked the IAC with and ohm meter and got 50 ohms each side. That does not mean its not stuck thou. I forgot to mention, this started after I put in a new clutch. ??? Car sat for 3 months.

You need to datalog the car and monitor the actual IAC counts. If the IAC counts goe to fully closed and the idle is still high then you have a vacuum leak.
