Ill say the oil pressure sensor on the 93 and early 94 cars is a PITA stupid *** spot, and it doesn't work with headers.

My car has been nothing short of a delight to work on. That's why I still have it after 11 years.

I've found that they are FAR easier to work on when you have a COMPLETE understanding of all of the systems, how they work, how they go together, and how each affects eachother. It's cliche, but knowledge is power.

Oh sure it sucks at first, but the more you do the more you understand and the more second nature it becomes.

I actually keep coming back to f bodies because they are so easy to work on. They are a rolling embodiment of the K.I.S.S. principle.

It sucks at first, then becomes all fun and games, and then when you get old it starts to suck again.

The worst part for me is knowing what I have to do, but not having the time to do it.

Changing plugs n wires with stock manifolds ****** sucks, took me and a bud 2 nights of working on it to get them done, then the fuel pump went out, and somehow, unknown to me at the time I got the firing order messed up, even though I and my buddy checked and checked the firing order more times than I could count. Broke down and took it to a mechanic and all was well again. My car I'm pretty sure wasn't beat on by the po, just the bastard never did any ****** maintence, the STOCK plugs n wires were in there for 105k, I knew that they needed changed, but I didn't know that bad, the gaps were .75" for ***** sake.

Only thing I hate is having big fat sausage fingers that get cut up every time I turn a wrench. Aside from that I love tooling with my car.

LT1 is nothing. Try working on a Ford DOHC modular v8.

+1 for not being as bad as a lot of other cars out there.

Do it once, it'll be a pain in the ***. After that you pretty much cut the time in half everytime you do it.

Yes, It requires a little technique, education, and patience

I admire some people online, Not just their Build, But the mechanical Skills that went into the build, As well as some people's ingenuity,

I think you need to find a local LSX guy and ask questions, Or perhaps even join a club, Many car club members are very Savvy Mechanics and willing to lend a hand,

Also perhaps buy an online Shop manual for your car, It helps to have Diagrams and illustrations

Ugh. Don't remind me. I changed an oil cooler gasket on my fathers 97 Lincoln Mark VIII. They have far less space than a Mustang, with twice the engine of a Mustang.
