i got a new opti and when i pulled it out of the box it looked like it was supposed to have a little protector plate taped on the inside to protect the super thin metal wheel inside. Well the plate was just laying in the box so i was looking at that wheel to make sure it was ok and i think it might be bent. When i push on the shaft that connects to the cam and spin it there is one spot where it just barely rubs what looks like a magnetic pickup. If anyone has an opti just layen around can you open it up and see if it touches it all.


Would you install it and run it or get another one?

How did you buy a new opti without a cap and rotor on it? Even the super elcheapo ones come with cap and rotor installed...
