Right so im installing my rings on the pistons, It says to leave the pink and yellow tabs visible, and that they will either but ends or snap together, It doesnt seem to me that these have a snap fitting.. So I just want to double check that this is how they should properly sit together.

Usually the rings wont touch completely once they are on the pistons. Just make sure that the gaps are on opposite sides of the pistons.
