Default Bad Roller Rocker Locks?

Alright guys I am having some trouble with my roller rockers. Anyways I have not been home to work on the car but my brother has been working on it. Anyways its gone about 200 miles since the cam has gone in. My brother says its starting to get a low end miss and when you but the clutch in the rpms drop to about 400rpm before it catches itself and comes back up to 800rpm. He also says that the rockers seem to be louder now. I know when I set the rockers I tighten the set screw really tight. Its not the first time that this has happened. I am running the hotcam kit rockers on a set of arp studs. Any chance that I could have a bad set of poly locks on the rockers? I may go in the car and sway a set of factory studs back on and reset the rockers again. Just wanting to know if it would be worth it to buy some new poly locks before the weekend.

The arp studs should be fine, I would readjust the rockers what I do is tighten the crap out of the poly lock and then turn it with a wrench about 1/4 turn. With the motor running incorrectly you sometimes hear a little more valve train noise; but it is worth checking out.
