motor mount install issue

Default motor mount install issue
I was working on replacing my original motor mounts last night with some poly pieces from Prothane. I started on the passenger side, the removal went without issue. Upon re installing the Prothane mount I noticed it is at least 1/2" - 3/4" shorter (not as wide) as the original mount so there is a bunch of slop between the frame mount and the mount on the block. Is this normal? It would seem you would want a nice snug fit like the original mount?

It should be tight left to right. Did you get lt1 specific ones? Part numbers?

I know for sure I specified LT1, the box says 93-97 V8 Fbody. Perhaps I will have to get in contact with Prothane?
