Default converted intake ?

At what point does going to a single plain intake become usefull. Will it be usefull with a stock pcm or ls1 conversion, or do you need to go with something like fast to make it effective?

Single plane manifolds outperform dual plane and similar manifolds at very high RPMs and sacrifice low end HP for high end. They need big RPMs to function to their fullest potential. I would not run one without changing to a system capable of spinning over 7k.
