difference of cutout with my exhaust?
i have a gmmg catback, if i get longtubes and a catted y pipe and put my cutout in the i pipe wear the spot is behind passenger side seat will i hear a difference in loudness, or will i have to put it before the cat to really hear anything? ive read that gmmgs are such good flowing exhausts that there isnt much sound difference with the cutout after the cat. true or flase?

You will hear a noticeable difference. But for the most hp put it before the cat...

I wouldn't worry about having a cutout with your exhaust. Get long tubes with a good mufflex y-pipe with high flow cats. That exhaust will flow and sound plenty good not to need a cutout. Plus cut outs sound like a beat up van on a factory lt1 long block at any speed other then wot...........

I personally love my cutouts. However my neighborhood does not though.I have P/S L/T no cats cutouts in their place with ory into magnaflows. All of it is 3in. And it sounds amazing at idle or wot. It does sound shitty while cruisin in 6th while under a buck. Hope this may help ya

I would put a cutout befor the cat, manual, and use it only at the track.
Youll be suprised the difference in sound manifolds to long tubes will be with your catback. on a SLP loudmouth its incredibly different.
