Thoughts on current set up please?
Well, my car is almost done. Just got off the phone with PCM for Less and they are sending me a tuned computer (while i send them mine)
Heres what the car has.
Freshly redone block because the bearings for the crank/cam were out.
-block is 40 over with new pistons and rings.
-comp 304 cam with 1.6 rockers (without the rockers cam specs are 210/220, .500.510 on 114) not sure how the rockers will change cam specs.
- 52mm TB
-Longtube ceramic coated headers to cat-less y to a magnaflow exhaust.
-2500 B&M Stall trans has shift kit and race cluthes
-under drive pulley
-moroso CAI
-3.73 gears
275/40R17 on OEM SS camaro wheels with Nitto 555 street tires
stock heads and intake
What do you all think, does my car have a change against my buddies 01 WS6 with a 6.0 LQ4 swap with no other mods other than tune? lol
What 1/4mi numbers do you all think my car should be capable of putting down in south TX?

yea, but thats what i have to work with right now... i bout the car from a guy in my area. he had all this stuff on the car already, what screwed me is that i guess they didnt put it together properly and the high volume oil pump sucked the pan dry and it was reading low oil pressure..
so it spun the bearings, dumped a bunch of cash to get it all fixed.
it still needs some body work (paint and some dings) and fix up the interior leather. im thinking LE2 heads and cam and about a 3000 stall 3200 max. i wanna keep it streetable.

thanks man, cant wait to drive it again... as soon as i bought it i had to have the motor torn apart cause the low oil pressure caused the bearings to burn out. Now running a stock volume melling pump, hope that puts it back to normal
had the machine shop assemble the short block and balance the internals. i dont think the previous owner went that far. he put it together in his garage.

Your "new" lift on that cam is going to be 533/540. Obviously that will help some. It's a pretty good jump. You'll probably have 40-50 more horsepower than stock with the cam/headers, exhaust and tune. and that should allow you to beat your friends LQ4. Good luck.
