Default super charged LT1???

Here's the deal, My little Pea Brain Has been working overtime the last week, on the idea of putting an Eaton 90 on a stock to mild built LT/ or??? I say mild because the Little bugger has an upper limit. what that limit is I need to find out? I am not wanting a Vette killer (it is a'97 K1500 4X4) I know I will have to drop the compression to about 8.5:1.... History; I own a GTP with the sweet little '90 on it, and I love the launch when the TCS is disabled. With the LT's alum heads, reverse water flow, I think that it is just begging to be huffed in some fashion? I do have the intake designed already (in my pea brain LOL) just thought that I would run it by the experts??? ideas anyone??? and no I don't want a turbo!!! I like a good challenge

not very many roots blowers have ever been done on 4th gens... it can be done but cost vs outcome isn't all that great when there are other viable options.

Do a search on here some one has done it before. Results were ok. It was a lot of work involved to make it work.

m90 is to small a blower to put down respectable HP on an LT1. You will generate so much heat with it, you will loose power. M90's are great on v6's and small V8's. You're going to have to over turn the blower, to make power. In turn builds heat. Heat in a roots set up is bad. I currently own a 2003 Harley Davidson Edition F150. Im only putting down 412/502 rw numbers. Thats at 13 lbs of boost, and Im at my cooling limit for the moment. Thats a smaller motor (5.4) and larger blower (m112). Keep your idea just lean away from the M90. To small for you needs, much less your wants.
