other than going to a 24x LS style setup you dont really have any......why do you want to get rid of it? for 99% of applications it will work just fine......i ran one on mine for 5 years only reason i got rid of it was it didn't like the rpm i was spinning it and it took too long to change caps and rotors....

not necessarily wanting to get rid of it, just wanting options

Kinda on but kinda off-topic, and not looking to hijack a thread but what's the optispark's RPM limit?

i really dont know......i tossed two rotors on mine then MSD told me i was spinning them too fast.....one of em i put the tip of the rotor right through the side of the cap lol......keep in mind i was spinning them 8k+ rpm so in a normal 7krpm application i dont see an issue....i spun mine 7000~ in my old 355 for years and years and never had a problem....

Okay awesome. The 357 I'm building should spin right around 6900-7000; just wanted to make sure I wasn't going to have any issues!

I have customers either running the whole MSD LT1 Distributor, or even just their cap and rotor and have great luck with some high RPM.

Go Delco and seal it with RTV. If you don't drive your car into a lake you'll be fine.

Ok, now if this engine doesnt have the reluctor wheel or trigger, what else do i need to buy? Kinda need a parts list AND will an L98 intake fit on the heads? I've got a Vic Jr that I'm planning on using for this build that was "made" to fit a L98
