I used whatever fel pro part # for stock lt1. If the gaskets don't quite line up with the heads you can customize them a little with a razor.

Pretty sure it was this set. I like to use permatex rtv black on the front and rear. Seems to make a nice bead and seals up good!

I'm more looking for what people are using performance wise... Like the gaskets with the raised bead around the ports and thicker overall for use with ported and milled heads... Not stock

I've got two different sets here if you want me to snap a photo of the differences.

Stock style: Felpro 95580

Blue "Raised bead" style: Felpro 1284

if your heads are heads are ported, they should have been ported utilizing a specific gasket. The head porter will recommend which gasket is used. If you're doing it yourself, then the Fel-pro 1284 is what you want to use as a base outline.

heads aren't necessarily ported to fit the biggest manifold gasket the porter could find. If they are you should rethink who you trust porting your heads.

The Felpros with the bead around the port I had delaminate once and suck the beads into the ports and suck oil from the lifter valley. I actually prefer stock style never had a problem and I saw them seal on afriend hack job 383 where the heads and intake met at a visibly different angle, the gasket even stayed crushed thinner I believe at the bottom after disassembly.

I'd have to look to see if I still have them but when I was double checking my LE2 heads to the intake I used a set of felpro 1284's to check the port alignment and angle. I used ARP Bolt lube and spread it on the gasket real thin to make sure the seal made good contact with heads and intake. It fit perfect with the ported heads and stock intake so I bought another set and bolted it on. All good so far no leaks no oil burn.

Took some rough measurements, should anyone ever need them. The gaskets have some manufacturing imperfections, so it's a little difficult to get consistent measurements:
Felpro 95580 -- 0.064" thick, 2.064" x 1.257" ports (I.D.)
Felpro 1284 -- 0.075" thick, 2.071" x 1.275" ports (I.D.)
I've run stock-style 95580 gaskets on LE2 heads without issue. I don't think it really matters which gasket you use. The 1284s feel thicker/softer, but as 96caprice said, I've seen people complain about the raised "printoseal" separating. Perhaps it would help to spray them with coppercoat.

If a lot of material has been removed from the deck surface, or if the cylinder heads have been milled repeatedly, then you usually end up with sealing problems along the bottom lifter-valley-side of the gaskets due to intake misalignment. Pretty sure the LT1 rebuild book documents a formula for correcting this by machining the intake manifold surfaces, but then you end up with an intake manifold matched only to those particular heads. Think I'd try double-stacking the intake gaskets before doing that, but it depends on the application.

As always, don't forget to re-torque the bolts after a few heat cycles.
