cai flow diff+93 lt1 cars vs 94-up
ok i have been looking at the cold air kits for the 93+ lt1 cars and would like to see/know watch one has the smoothest air flow and watch one has gave the most power gains so i think it would be like this,K&N vs moroso vs SLP vs ebaykit vs stock . maybe theres more im not sure.
now whats the cose and pros for the 1993 lt1 cars vs 94- up
i would like aybe if the info is good if this could be come a sticky

K&N, Moroso, SLP are all going to give the same gains +/- 1-2HP.....just pick whichever one looks better to you. Do NOT get an Ebay cold air kit; the tubing they use is only 3" which is fine for a 4 banger......the stock plastic intake elbow has 3.5" openings as does the MAF....so you need minimum of 3.5" tubing or it will be a restriction over stock. You might want to look into a LS1 lid conversion for maximum hp or do what I did and rig up your own custom cold air intake; I used Spectre's 4" "modular air intake system" pieces to make my own....it's nice and shiny too
