Quick question fuel pump/rear end
Hey guys do as you know I have the 93 z28 donor car and my 95 3.4. I'm about to go swap the rear around so any tips and tricks on removal or installation on the rears would be cool.
My main question though is I plan to use an after market fuel pump with my new lt1. Will the lt1 fuel pump in the donor car work with the 3.4 that way I don't have to drop the tank? Cause my car already has the hole cut above the tank. Thanks for the replies!

No. I want to basically flip flop the rears and the fuel pumps because the lt1 is going into my car.
I plan on buying an aftermarket fuel pump for my new set up with my lt1.
I'm outing my old 3.4 and drrive train in the donor car to sell as a a running nice car.
My question is will the lt1 fuel pump that's currently in the donor car work with the 3.4 motor I'm going to put in it.
Sorry for the confusion.

If the 3.4 has a fuel pressure regulator then it should be able to handle the LT1's fuel pump.
For the LT1, I'd get a Walbro 255 and call it a day. The best deal out there is the Granatelli 255 fuel pump kit for $125. It's a Walbro in a different box that comes with an install kit that's 100% plug and play for LT1 cars.

I wouldn't bother swapping the rears. Start saving for a 9"/12-bolt or get ready to build an 8.8 because your dinky 10-bolt isn't going to last long behind a T56. I messed up my diff pretty bad with stock M6 power.
There are only 2 differences between the V6 and LT1 rears: disc brakes and LSD. Swap rears if you plan on keeping your LT1 stock and driving it lightly, but if you plan on having some fun then I'd cut to the chase and go aftermarket.
