Default AFR 210 LT4 heads... front oil drain back holes??

On my AFR 210 LT4 heads, the front oil drain back holes are blocked - literally by the block. Looking at it, my engine builder and I observed that it looks like if we drilled down to open up the block to them, the oil would go right into the coolant passage - so we didn't. The rear oil drainback holes are fine. However, I am concerned that without the front holes working I'm getting too much oil pooling on top of the heads and it may effect the motor's ability to circulate the oil effectively at higher RPM.

Has anyone else ran into this issue?

You must have one of the old sets. All the old sets were just converted SBC heads

We always cut the block for oil return there is lots of meat to do it

Yes we waitied 4 monthes for this set!

my trick flows did that as well i did what ellis did......just round off the edge of the block there and give the oil a ramp straight into the lifter valley......piece of cake a die grinder and a few min......make sure you do it before you have the block washed it makes a mess!!!

Yes my older 190 s had this trouble as well, I enlarged the head hole slightly and blended the block to match.
