Tune Question. Ok so I have an LT1 out of a 96 camaro, comp cam, shorty headers and a tune. Spun a rod bearing and decided to go to a 383. The question is with everything staying the same..cam, headers intake, injectors, heads...all the same...for initital start up and break in...How far is the tune going to be off with the new bore and stroke being the only difference? The car will be getting tuned and new injectors pretty soon after its all back together just curious if my current tune will work for a short period of time. Thanks for your time.

It will run, but it won't be good for a fresh rebuild to break in. I'm in the same boat and I'm ordering a mailorder tune to break in for the first hour then a short drive. Then it's getting hauled to the dyno. $150 tune is better than a $6,000 kaboom.
