Driveshaft Weight

Whats the weight of the stock driveshaft? Im thinking on going an aluminum or an ACPT but those are kinda pricey.

My bathroom scale shows 18 lbs for a stock steel ds. Before you go with a stock aluminum ds know that alot of people have had them rip apart in hi-perf use.

Thanks Tom,

Im aware, but a lot of those ripped Almn DS have been broken at the strip of drag racing with all that inertia. My car is mainly a street warrior for now.. I dont expect a bolt on 300+ hp LT1 to rip it apart.
