Default Second time to track better results.

So my first time to the track to race a month or so ago my best pass was a 12.8 @ 112 with a 2.1 sixty.

Well last week My best was a 12.4 @ 113 with a 1.9 sixty.

For only being my second time on a track and it being a stick I think I'm doing pretty good. I can tell the car has more left in it.

1997 M6 Z28 Hotcammed, boltons, moser 12 bolt with 4:10 gears, spohn adjustable lcas, sphon body mounted torque arm, comp english welded sfcs, on a 275/45/15 mickey thompson et streets.

That's really good, what was the DA? If you drop your 60' a little more and continue improving your driving it looks like you could get an 11 second pass, good work!

I'm not so sure he has the trap speed for an 11 second pass. Not to bring the guy down or anything but I think the most that combo has (right now with no other mods) is a 12.3 or 12.2.

Shon Herron did an 11.8 at 113 on boltons only, if he can hook hard enough 113 can get him there. Big question is DA, considering its July, I think if he ran in November he can kiss 11s.

DA is 2373 feet.

The guy I got the car from ( gregg97z ) Made a 12.01 @ 115 pass with it before. No sure what size wheels he had but it was on a 1.7 sixty and in P.A.

If you get a 0 DA day, and get your 60 down to 1.6, you will easily hit 11s. Why was your 60 still a 1.9? Spinning or just going easy?

Are you bias ply or radials? I could do a 5000rpm dump on bias with 4.33 at 20psi and dead hook. What psi are you at? What's your burnout? Race weight?

Nice job for only your 2nd time out! Car will run MUCH stronger in fall weather. Get it back to the track on a 40-50 deg day in Oct-Nov and see the difference. Last time I ran it after adding the lid in good fall weather it was trapping 117...

M/T ET Street Radial. Had them aired down to 15lbs. Not sure what my raceweight. The a/c has been deleted other than that nothing has been done for weight reduction and I weigh 230 pounds.

My burnout is at this track you have to go through the waterbox so I creep through it right when I get out dump the clutch and warm the tires for 3-4 seconds and let of the brake and let out of gas.
