I am looking at a 96 Camaro z28 which the dealer says it has a police package? and he says it has the--------Performance Package, 5.7L V8 SPI 305 hp?

Did they have a 305hp option z28 in 1996? This isn't the ss, just the z28. they got me confused, the car sure doesn't look like it was used by the police either? any help would be appreciated!

there were cars with the B4C police package, look in the glove box for that code, that will confirm it. not sure about the specs though, someone else can chime in on that.

I don't know at how they are rated, but have had a few on my dyno. They don't make any more power than anything else.

Ask them to show you the RPO on the sticker for the "Performance package". Of course, there is none. A B4C Camaro is nothing more than a debadged Z28 performance wise. It is not a performance package.

no its not the 10 grand one, I got this one for 6400, 74000 miles and looks like it has 30000 on it. look at my garage to see it.
