Hey George G, let me know what the headers look like, quality and fit wise (did you order LT1 headers). I am in need of a set for my AFR Procharged LT1 (396ci) the price of the headers is nice but I want to make sure the quality is acceptable....

Thanks

Any pics of an actual header? Welds, inside collector, inside flanges?

I've noticed a lot of people like to see the actual product.

Everything is boxed at the moment. Next box we crack I can. They are built basically the same as our LS1 headers. Here is a link to pics & reviews:

Really depends on sales. If we can move them quick enough yes we will build a Y-Pipe. If they just sell here and there than probably not.

Thanks

So what y pipe would you recommend for your headers because I might just buy me a set?

I would say give the PaceSetter Y-Pipe a shot. They seem to work from what we have heard.

If you guys decided to make a Y pipe please please please give it a well built merge like the Magnaflow merge or the flowmaster merge. That is probably the biggest complaint from F-body owners when it comes to Y pipes. There have been many reports of the merges costing up to 10 HP or more and causing terrible rasp whereas the magnaflow/flowmaster merges give a better sound and make more power. I can't imagine it would be too hard to come up with something that actually flows right.

Sure, can you give me an example of what your referencing.. I wasn't aware of Magnaflow & Flowmaster making Y-Pipes. Are you referring to somewhere in their cat-backs..

Legal Tender: Its 304 Stainless, and its between 16-18 gauge I believe.

Thanks

We have most of our products manufactured out of China. Unfortunately, you can't get that kind of pricing within the U.S. on stainless steel. Several vendors are now moving their way. As long as you stay on top of quality control they seem to come out pretty well.

They don't in the way your thinking. http://www.jegs.com/i/Magnaflow/642/...Fc9AMgodphgAkA
Something like this is what he was talking about. The merge that almost all lt1 headers come with just isn't that good.

Something that might work for you guys too is a true dual system. There are a few out for the LS cars. I cant imagine they would be too far off. Might be able to modify it a bit as another option. Our LS1 and LT1 collectors are the same, and several true dual kits work with our LS1 headers.

I think they would work with your headers.. I bought a kit and they worked perfectly with the kooks on my ls1. they're quite adjustable.
