Default 8 trouble codes. Help!

So I got my car scanned for DTC's at Oreilly's. I have DTC 42, 43, 44, 45, 51, 53, 54, 55

The other thing I noticed is every time I shut the car off for more than a minute or two the SES light won't be on when I start the car. Then after driving for a few minutes is comes back on. All these codes came up only about 3 mins (1 mile) after starting it.

I was thinking maybe the Computer is shot?

DTC - 42 Ignition bypass circuit error

DTC - 43 Knock sensor error

DTC - 44 Oxygen sensor error (lean condition indicated)

DTC - 44 Left bank O2 sensor error (lean condition indicated)

DTC - 45 Oxygen sensor error (rich condition indicated)

DTC - 45 Left bank O2 sensor error (rich condition indicated)

DTC - 51 PROM error

DTC - 51 Incorrect MEM-CAL

DTC - 53 System voltage too high

DTC - 53 Digital EGR Valve solenoid 1 error

DTC - 54 Fuel pump circuit low voltage

DTC - 54 Digital EGR Valve solenoid 2 error

DTC - 55 ECM error

DTC - 55 Digital EGR Valve solenoid 3 error

What did they scan it with? Some scan tools are not reliable. Several of those sound bogus unless you have some real bad problems (which I doubt at this point). It would be helpful to describe what led to you having the scan done. Need background as well as car information.

I just bought the car a couple weeks ago. Changed out the plugs and wires, and also flushed the cooling system. The car runs and drives GREAT IMO. Only problem I have with it right now is the cooling fans not coming on.

The scanner they used was an Innova I believe.

Innova. Figures. Seen lots of posts of bogus readings from that scanner brand. IDK why, but they do a terrible job. You need it scanned with something else or get a cable and free software to do it yourself.

Do the fans come on when the SES does? Read info.
