Default Boosted LT1 Catch Can Install

I am getting a ton of oil and slime in my supercharger and tubing and need a catch can! I have a tube running from my passenger side valve cover to the front of my supercharger. Do I route a catch can in that line from the passenger side valve cover to the front of my supercharger. I've done a ton of research on this and people make it so confusing. Common sense tells me that I'm getting oil coming from the valve cover into my supercharger so I need a catch can in between there to catch it. Right?

Thanks, Grant

Yes, or run open breathers.

Yeah I got breathers, one on drives side valve cover and on the passenger side I got one breather and then that tube that runs to the supercharger.

You should use the PCV valve on the intake for the suction line to catch can then to inlet of SC. Leave breathers on the valvecovers.

How serious of a combination do you run? If you're leaning on it hard I would run 2 lines to separate catch can. Oil in the combustion chamber = Death to mister piston.

What?? I'm confused! This is how I'm doing it PCV valve from valve cover to catch can then to suction side of supercharger. PCV-> Catch Can-> Supercharger. Is that what you were saying? I'm leaving the breathers.

Pcv is on the intake, not the valve cover. Pcv->catch can->blower inlet/intake

OK so this is what I found out tonight. My PCV valve is routed to the front of my intake manifold under the throttle body and it's a breather that has a tube that Is running to the front of the supercharger so that why I'm getting all that oil and slug is because it's sucking all the oil and crap from the valve cover. Is this setup correct?

If you are running the stock pcv configuration, you need to change it. At a minimum, if you do not have a check valve in place, you will push boosted air into the crankcase.
