Default 97 ta swap to 95 camaro

hey guys, new to the form. I just purchased a 97 Trans Am donor car. I plan on swapping the motor into my 95 v6 camaro. I was wondering if anyone knew if the wiring harness would work in my camaro or not sense the lt1 is from the newer years of the 4th gen. If anyone has any information that would help greatly. Thanks!

The swap is more intrusive than its worth versus just cleaning up the body of the TA. Not to mention the TA has more value than a V8 swapped Camaro base. The 95 is OBD1 the 1997 ODB2, so there's that.

Post some pics of how bad of condition the TA is in. I agree that doing some body work/paint is easier and probably more cost effective than tackling a major project like a engine swap.
