Which rear end should i go with
So I called brute speed and mid west chassis and to get some pricing mid west recommended an s track all built and ready to go came out to 4649 brute speed recommended a spool and it came out to about 3000 so there is a 1600$ difference is the s rack worth the extra 1600$ the car will mostly be street driven and mostly weekends only with little strip time car will be about 700hp on the street and with a little help of some n2o should be about 1000hp on the strip which would you guys go with thanks

The nine inch with a spool will come with 35 spline axles, and you won't break it. For a weekend car I would go with a spool myself. Bob

S60 is a little cheaper and a little stronger (neither of which you'll likely have any issue with), 9" has better parts availability, MUCH better gear selection, and easier to service.
As far as differentials when I bought mine all signs pointed to either the spool (strongest and cheaper) or a wavetrac (the best moser diff available with lifetime warranty IIRC). Truetrac seems to be problematic for even modest power levels and a locker can be sketchy in a street car when you're not used to driving one.
I opted for a 9" with a wavetrac because I wanted to be able to run any gear ratio I wanted for future builds and I didn't want the compromises of a spool in a street driven vehicle (wear on tires, low speed turning issues, beating up suspension components, etc.)
A spool is near unbreakable and the cheapest option available, but not without it's short comings. If it's a track car with little street time a spool does make the most sense, if a street car with track use skip the truetrac and go spend the money on the wavetrac.

I went back on brute speeds web site and built a wavtrack it's only 700$ more I think I'm going to go that route it will have better street maners than a spool and whats another 700$ at this point already got a small fortune in this car things add up so fast lol

If this is going in a street/strip car then get a spool. They are stronger than a posi and they weigh a lot less. You'll save 30-40lbs right there if not more. When I ordered my S60 it was in a group of 6, and they all came on a huge pallet. All of the rears with posi's were 220-230lbs iirc. Mine was like 175-180 (don't remember exactly but not much more than a stock 10-bolt).

Unless he has very high power goals or the car spends most of it's time on the track, a spool provides little benefit outside of strength (which many be a non issue dependent on his goals), cost, and weight savings.
