Default Newb Questions (interchange)

Ok, I probably sound like a complete retard asking these, but couldn't find em searching...

I'm curious if LT1 heads will bolt on to a later model 350 block.

I have a block from an '88 K1500 truck that ate a rod bearing, I'm planning on having the bottom end built up with some hypereutic pistons, puched 060 over, roller cam & roller lifters.

I'm looking at getting a 94+ LT1 intake manifold, modifying it as per lt1intakes.com so it can take a distributor, and controlling it with a TPI camaro ECM/dizzy. I would like to avoid going with an LT1 block as I'd rather not mess with optispark. And I am going to keep it OBD-1 as I already have a bunch of scanning/programming tools to do GM obd-1 ECM's.

Now my question is, will a pair of LT1 heads fit on a newer 350 block (stock?)? If not, what modifications are necessary, or is it not worth the effort to do so?

not sure if it will work because the heads are a reverse flow design, different that Gen 1 blocks. but i could be wrong. but if you get it to work shoot us some pics. id like to see it run. keep us posted

you have to weld a plug in a hole in each of the heads to make them work on the standard sbc to me its not worth the trouble
