Default Whats the displacement on a 383?

I was just curious of what the displacement is on a 383. Is it still 5.7?

I also was wondering why people say the LT4 conversion is a waste of money. How much more potential does it have compared to a LT1 waaaayy down the stretch?

some people say the LT4 conversion is a waste because you can buy kits that make a lot more power for less money.

383 CI it's "about" 6.2 Liters depending on actual bore and stroke.

down the road the LT4 conversion isnt bad. but really all you need are the heads and intake. the heads themselves hold more potential than LT1 heads and you have to have the LT4 intake to match up to the heads. for most people fully ported LT1 heads will do them just fine. so youve got to decide just how far your going to go to determine if the LT4 heads are worth the cost to you.

355 is 5.8L, 383 I'm not sure about, HBH is probably right.
