Default Might Sell Car At End Of Year - Gauging Interest?

I think I'm going to sell my LT1 at the end of the school year, because that's when my loan will be paid off and I'm now making more money so I want to up to a 96-97 SS or an LS1 Z28 or SS. The car is pretty clean, paint peeling a little on front nose, tear on the usual drivers side seat. By the time I sell it the car will probably have around 94-95k, has 91k on it now.

I think I'm going to do Hooker Headers and ORY, into a Hooker Catback. And probably leave everything else alone. But I plan on putting a new cd player in, and 4 new speakers, will probably hook up some subs and if the buyer wants them they can go with.

Basically I want to see what everyone thinks I can get on a nice 93 Z28 with less than 100k on it, and some nice bolt-ons? I will replace all the plugs/wires and other matinence bull when I sell it. And I might have it spot painted if I can do it cheap enough. I'm thinking about pricing it at 5k or so, which I think is more than resonable when I paid 5500 for it, and it really is a nice car. Run's very strong and smooth and never has any problems besides little things. I will replace all the broken window buttons and all that as well.

I'm looking to spend between 10-14k, and that should get me a nice low mileage 96-97 SS or a nice maybe low mileage LS1 Z28 or SS, and have some money left for bolt ons. You guys think it's worth the hassle? And will I be able to get 5k out of it?

If u put LT's and a hooker catback on it, you will be losing money because you wont get that money back when you go to sell it. Just a suggestion

If you are going to sell it, don't mod it anymore. You will be throwing that money away.

Yeah, I think I'm gonna leave it like it is and just fix some things up and put in a cd player. Probably won't spot paint but I will replace all the broken buttons, get my right blinker working, change everything else that needs changed to. And try to sell it for 4.5k to 5.5k, I paid $5500 for it.

93's are nice, but its hard to tell them.. at least from what i've seen. I'd prob go more 4-4500 since LT1's have became very cheap lately. Since the pricing is so close between all the years, everyone is going after 96-97's for 5000-5500. Good luck on the sale though man

Yeah I will probably lean more towards 4-4.5 but we will see, I need atleast 4 to put a decent down payment on a car, then I will only have to take out like an 8k loan or somewhere around there, and land a 96+ SS or a 98+ Z28.
