Default Weird noise after lt4 hot cam install.

Just put in a lt4 hot cam with lt4 springs, and electric water pump. when you start the car up when it is cold it is quiet, but when it warms up it has a churning sound like its coming from the optispark. It kind of sounds like a wawahwawawahwa. also the idle will raise up about 200 rpms, by itself, but its got me confused. If anyone has an idea please let me know.

thanks, Josh

yes I let all of the air out I have drove the car for about a month now, and it drives fine, the noise quits after about 1800 rpms, and the car has great power, just not sure why such a nasty noise, but it runs smooth.

did you wire the water pump up with a fuse? if so try unhooking it just to make sure your not hearing coolant moving around.

Everything is hooked up and running it is a high pitch sound like wawawawawa coming from the optispark area.

Yea I wish I could post, but i dont have a digital camera to do it. This will probably end up being a spend and no fix, until you buy like a 35 cent part that fixes it all.

Whatever the noise is, I would not drive it at all until you fix it. It is not going to fix itself.

I don't know about a high pitch sound. But my GMPP Extreme Duty chain and gears did add some extra noise to that area.
