Default should i be happy?

well i finished my build and took it to the 1/8 mile track,
it was hot around 90* and my car was runing hot 210+ but sense then i corded my radiator and installed a 160* stat and set fans cooler.
I ran a 8.8sec @80 mph w/street tires and my 60' was 1.9
same track last year i did 9.45@75 mph on my stock motor
I did 2 runs and they were both constent.

I have not dyno my car yet but whet do you think about the #

tranny has 20,000 miles and still strong, rear end is about 10,000miles on it, 2500 stall, new 32lb injectors, pcmforless tune,evo-z tires, cai,AI head and cam, forged pistons,5130 rods,je plasma rings, clevette 77 bearings,11.3-1 CR,port match intake, mid pace lenght headers, 3.42 gears, full suspension,

the car is fast but not as fast as i thought i should be?

what you guys think.

Get a higher stalled converter, some 3.73's and some stickier tires. Then you'll really notice a difference. Its all in the combination of parts you use.

well with my mods which is not much im running 8.9s at 80mph in a M6 with a 60 foots from 2.135-2.225 on street tires (still geting used to launching it) but i may have jacked my rear at the track bout to start taking it apart determine the problem ..... sounds like with your mods you should be considerable faster as it sits now im making ground on you past the 60 foot with as close as we are at the 1/8 i might even be catching you by the end of the quarter mile

should deffinitly be faster my 100% stock ls1 goes 8.70 @ 83 in the 1/8th and 13.4 @ 104 in the 1/4 on a 2.0 60' so your h/c lt1 should be able to kill that even most hotcam only cars do I'd start with doing LT's and losing the mids along with a cutout or ORY and 3" catback if you dont have those already and get a larger stall to match your cam size along with DR's

I ran a 8.5 @ 79 with mine when it had a stall, 3.42 gear, and muffler only. You need a bigger stall, and sticky tire. your 60' should be alot lower. I have bolt ons, and a cam, and with a 2800 stall cut 1.8's. I put a larger stall 3400-3800 ish in a cut 1.73. Get your 60' down.
