Stop being a cheap *** you want a custom cam, you dont want somthing off the self. A custom cam is the best way to go so listen to what people have to say.

What's the deal with a custom cam grind? If a off the shelf cam has the specs to make good power then whats the difference? Does it just sound cool to say you have a CUSTOM cam? I never have understood this..

Because all the duration and all the lift isn't going to make any more power if your heads cant utilize that duration and lift. On stock heads a big cam isn't worth the drivability losses. If you looking for the best results get a heads and cam package that were designed to work together, and a good dyno tune.
